Having had the privilege of working alongside some of the most dedicated, compassionate, and resilient nurses in pediatric critical care, we cannot express how deeply fulfilling it is to bring Nursing PediCritiCon 2025 to life.

Nursing PediCritiCon was created to march towards a change. It is a small yet long-overdue step towards:

• Recognizing the unique expertise and contributions of pediatric critical care nurses
• Bridging the divide between knowledge and practice through hands-on learning
• Creating a shared space where nurses and doctors collaborate as equals
• Inspiring the next generation of nursing leaders to rise with confidence and competence.

It’s also a tribute; a tribute to the tireless hands that comfort, the sharp minds that act swiftly, and the hearts that care beyond measure. To every nurse we have worked with, learned from, and leaned on, this one is for you.

We envisioned Nursing PediCritiCon not as a one-time event, but as a beginning; a beginning where the silent strength of nurses is no longer silent. An ode to a simple truth,
that the hands which hold the most fragile lives deserve to be uplifted, educated, and heard. If we are to advance the field of pediatric critical care meaningfully, we must do so with nurses at the helm, not in the margins.
